This one is really small,
but it brought me such joy to see completed
I thought I'd post it anyway.

I have had a pair of candle holders flanking my dressing table
since we moved in over two years ago.
I put sand dollars on there then, just to have something there
and I've been going back and forth
on what kind of candles to get ever since.
I finally got some yesterday and put them up.
They aren't impressive candles, but I think I like
that they are simple and lightly scented.
The room is probably over decoarated anyway
so a clean line or two is good.
I moved the sand dollar to the netting,
and put a few shells around the bottom of the candle.

Now I just need to paint over that yellow wall
from the previous owners.

Hey, nice! Wish the bottom pictures were bigger though. The ol' orbs ain't a what they used to be.
I don't think in terms of seashore and related items as decorative pieces, probably because I saw so much of it that was overdone when I lived in Oregon. So it makes me appreciate what you've done. Thanks for sharing it.
lol, I'll email them to you.
Confession... I took those other pics a year ago, which is the last time my room was really truely clean.
I still contend that it's not my stuff so I shouldn't have to clean it up, Mom. I mean, what am I supposed to do with all the old electronics he's got in there?
I KNOW you feel my pain on that one! I'm just glad that electronics have gotten smaller between the time that your husband started collecting them and when my husband started collecting them.
ROFL!
Oops. Shouldn't have read your comment to my husband...ew, the glares...sigh. He's right, he's not the only one with hobby stuff laying around...
lol, Yeah... we won't mention I have a whole ROOM for sewing and crafts (it's really the formal living room, but hey, the antique sewing machine table goes really well with the antique couches... we call it my sitting room)
